In October 2014, the "Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Comprehensively Advancing Several Major Issues Concerning the Rule of Law" was announced and decided to compile the Civil Code. On March 15, 2017, the "General Principles of Civil Law" was approved by the Fifth Session of the 12th National People's Congress and will be officially implemented on October 1 this year. This means that China has officially opened the era of the Civil Code.

In order to meet this historic moment, and to better learn and understand the General Principles of the Civil Law, on September 6, 2017, the Wuxi Tobacco Monopoly Bureau specially invited our lawyer Mo Mozhi to set the background for the General Principles of the Civil Law. Interpretation of basic content, highlights, etc.

 At first, the lawyers of Mo Wisdom took the development of China's legal system as the starting point, and cited the classics, which revealed the hard-won of our national code. Then it briefly introduced the basic framework of the General Principles of Civil Law. Finally, it was settled in practice and the General Principles of Civil Law and Civil Law. The General Principles compares and interprets several important adjustments that are closely related to daily legal actions, including the reduction of civil capacity and personal information protection.
