Mr. SONG Zhengping specializes in foreign investment law, M&As, employment law, commercial contracts, construction, and dispute resolution. He is fluent in English and capable to provide legal services in both Chinese and English. He has extensive experience in advising foreign investors on M&A activities in China. He has also advised many foreign investors on formation of foreign-invested enterprises, land purchase, factory construction, foreign exchange issue, customs and CIQ matters, and other investment-related administrative applications.

Working and Education Background

Mr. SONG Zhengping was qualified in China in 1995. He was granted Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) by China University of Politics and Law and Master of Laws (L.L.M) by Victoria University of Wellington. He also studied English law in University of London and international trade law in University of Maryland. He participated in a one-year training scheme in Eversheds LLP (London), Essex Court Chambers (London) and Johnson Stokes and Master (Hong Kong).

He is an arbitrator of Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and Vice President of Jiangsu Lawyers Association. He is also an arbitrator of Wuxi Arbitration Commission, President of Wuxi Lawyers Association, Vice Chairman of Foreign Related Business Law Practice Committee of Jiangsu Province Bar Association.
